My Treatment Plan

Be Aggressive, B-E Aggressive

Chemo for Ewing's sarcoma is aggressive and fairly effective. That's the good thing about it. It shrunk my tumor by approximately 90% and made it possible for surgery.

On the flip side, the chemo is aggressive and effective, in the worst possible ways. Looking back on it, I can’t wrap my head around how I got through it.

Do not let that be discouraging to you. Being aware of the treatment, side effects, and possible complications will help you put what you're experiencing into perspective.

My expectations were so misaligned with reality. I had no personal knowledge or framework from which to work with.
